Grad Sevnica in Lutrovska klet
Grad Sevnica, ki stoji na razglednem griču nad starim mestnim jedrom, ter na njegovem pobočju stoječa Lutrovska klet sta največji znamenitosti mesta. Na gradu so različne muzejske zbirke, lepo prenovljena objekta pa imata danes predvsem kulturno in reprezentančno vlogo.
Na gradu so danes tudi baročni salon s sejno sobo, konferenčna in poročna dvorana ter razstavna galerija, drugo nadstropje jugovzhodnega stolpa pa ponuja na ogled lepo restavrirane poznobaročne freske. V prvem nadstropju jugozahodnega stolpa se nahaja pred nedavnim prenovljena renesančno-baročna kapela. V grajskih prostorih so še šolska in gasilska zbirka, zbirka o izgnancih, zbirka ‘Kamni govorijo’, ki preko ostankov kamnitih spomenikov predstavlja življenje v poznorimski dobi na naših tleh, ter galerija krasilne umetnosti Ivana Razbórška. Na gradu domuje tudi Grajsko lutkovno gledališče, ki redno razveseljuje zlasti najmlajše. V akustični Lutrovski kleti s prenovljenima fasado in streho danes redno potekajo glasbeni koncerti in druge prireditve, saj je prostor zelo akustičen.
Obiskovalci gradu si lahko ogledajo tudi kratek film o njegovi zgodovini, se okrepčajo v kavarni, v grajski vinoteki, ki ponuja širok izbor vin, ali v Grajski kašči, ki ponuja različne dobrote, pa tudi zeliščne čaje in kreme, ročno izdelane nogavice, punčke iz cunj in drugo. Na gradu se je mogoče poročiti, zlasti razkošne so poroke v grajskem parku v toplejših mesecih. Za otroke imajo na gradu pripravljen tudi animacijski program, ki jim skozi igro približa grajsko življenje v 16. stoletju. V poletnem času na gradu tradicionalno poteka Sevniško grajsko poletje, tj. vrsta kulturnih in kulturno-zabavnih dogodkov.

The Sevnica Castle and the Lutheran cellar
The Sevnica Castle, which is situated on the hill above the old town centre, and the Lutheran Cellar on its slope are two of the city’s biggest attractions. The castle holds different museum collections and the two nicely renovated buildings nowadays mostly play a cultural and representative part.
In the castle one can also find a reception room in baroque style with a meeting room, a conference and a wedding hall and a gallery. On the 2nd floor of the southeastern tower the visitors can feast their eyes on the beautifully renovated late-baroque frescos. On the 1st floor of the southwestern tower there is a recently renovated chapel in renaissance-baroque style. The castle also holds a school- and firefighting collections, collection on exiles and the collection ‘Kamni govorijo’, ”Stones Speaking’. In this collection the remainders of the stone statues offer a glimpse of the life in the late Roman era in this area. There is also the gallery of decorative arts collected by Ivan Razboršek. In the castle one can also find the Castle puppet theater, whose performances are frequently enjoyed by the children. Due to its incredible acoustics the Lutheran cellar with its renovated façade and roof often hosts musical concerts and other events.
The visitors to the castle can watch a short movie about the castle’s history, enjoy refreshments at the café, the castle wine cellar with a wide assortment of wines, or at the shop Grajska kašča which offers various dainties and also herbal teas and creams, hand-made socks, rag dolls etc. It is also possible to wed at the castle, the weddings in the castle park are especially magnificent in the warmer months of the year. The castle offers an animation program for the children, which introduces to them the castle life in the 16th century through play. In the summertime the castle hosts the traditional festival Sevniško grajsko poletje, which is a series of cultural and entertainment events.

Die Burg Sevnica und der Luther- Keller
Die Burg Sevnica steht auf einem Aussichtshügel über den alten Stadtkern und gehört zusammen mit dem Luther-Keller, der auf dem Hügelhang steht, zu den größten Sehenswürdigkeiten der Stadt. Im Burg sind verschiedene Museumssammlungen. Heute haben die schön renovierten Gebäude vor allem die Kultur- und Repräsentationsrolle.
Heute sind im Burg auch der Barocksalon mit einem Sitzungszimmer, der Konferenz- und Trausaal und die Ausstellungsgalerie. Im zweiten Stock des südöstlichen Turms kann man die schön renovierten spätbarockischen Fresken sehen. Im ersten Stock des südwestlichen Turms befindet sich seit kurzem renovierte die Renaissance-Barock Kapelle. In den Burgräumen sind noch die Zierkunst-Galerie von Ivan Razboršek, die Schul- und Feuerwehrsammlung, die Sammlung über die Heimatvertriebenen und die Sammlung „die Steine sprechen“. Diese Sammlung enthält die Steindenkmäler, die das Leben in der spätrömischen Zeit auf unserem Boden darstellen. Hier befindet sich auch das Burg-Puppentheater, das regelmäßig vor allem die Jüngsten erfreut. Im akustischen Luther-Keller, dessen Fassade und Dach renoviert wurden, finden heute regelmäßig die Musikkonzerte und andere Veranstaltungen statt.
Die Besucher können sich auch einen kurzen Film über die Geschichte von Burg anschauen. In der Cafeteria oder der Burgvinothek, die eine breite Weinauswahl anbietet, können sie sich stärken. Der Burg-Getreidespeicher bietet verschiedene Gaumenfreuden an und auch den Kräutertee, die handgemachten Socken, die Stoffpuppen und anderes. Es ist möglich im Burg zu heiraten, und zwar sind besonders prachtvoll die Hochzeiten im Burgpark in den wärmeren Monaten. Für die Kinder wird ein Animationsprogramm vorbereitet, das ihnen das Burgleben im 16. Jahrhundert nahebringt. In der Sommerzeit verläuft in der Burg schon traditionell Sevniško grajsko poletje, mit einer Reihe von kulturellen und unterhaltsamen Ereignissen.
